Summary

CFS Engineers, P.A. is looking for a qualified Water / Wastewater Engineer with experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services for a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

 

Additional tasks include utility coordination and design.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing working drawings, plans, cost estimates, studies, reports, and other work products

  • Involved with the permit process, which may require meetings with clients, contractors, reviewing agency personnel and governing entities.

  • Teamwork and problem-solving skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • Utilize professional engineering license to apply current engineering principles and theories, design specifications, and federal, state, and local design standards to develop plan sets and specifications for various projects;

  • Public meeting attendance

  • Assistance on responding to RFQ’s with our marketing team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Registered Professional PE in Missouri (KS Registration also preferred)

  • Proven hands-on experience with variety of transportation / traffic engineering projects

  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to assignment changes

  • Attention to details and accuracy

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills (written and oral) and ability to work with various teams is essential

  • Proficient in ArcPro, Open Roads, Excel, Word, Hec-RAS, Adobe

  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
