PROJECTS
Monarch Art Foundation Design
Riverside, Missouri
CFS worked with the City and four national public artists to develop foundation design for ten art displays. The focus of this project was to promote education around the monarch butterfly flight pattern and the importance of this species.
Shawnee Plaza & Midland Road Relocation Shawnee, Kansas
Services included geotechnical engineering, slope stability study and inspection of 250 feet of Redi Rock (large block) retaining wall (20 feet in maximum height), public utilities, and roadway design and inspection for relocation of Midland Drive to accommodate the creation of new retail lots.
GSA Site Retaining Walls
Kansas City, Missouri
Located at the GSA site in southern Kansas City, CFS provided topographic surveying and civil engineering services. The existing three tiered wall system was made from railroad timbers that were deteriorating. The project includes the development of construction drawings to remove an existing retaining walls and document wall installation instructions with stormwater enhancements to support the long-term sustainability of the wall system.
