KU Gateway District Phase 1

CFS Engineers provided special inspections and materials testing for the first phase of the KU Gateway District Project. This phase included the completed renovations of the Anderson Family Football Complex and the rebuild of the southwest, west, and north sides of David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. Our team also provided construction administration for the 55,000‑square‑foot convention and conference center in the stadium’s north bowl. Inspections covered structural steel, precast panels, and work on utilities, pavements, retaining walls, and elevators.

CFS was additionally selected to deliver special inspection and materials testing services for the Gateway Phase 2 project as well as the new Student Housing facilities.
